Jacob Bau

Jacob Bau is a passion-driven and dedicated musician who sings bass-baritone in Steller Singers. Beginning his over ten year musical journey in just the first grade, Jacob sang Alto for the Silicon Valley Boychoir, with whom he found his passion for singing and performed in colligate and professional productions of Carmina Burana (Stanford Symphony, 2017) and La Bohème (West Bay Opera, 2018) respectively. In recent years, Jacob has found himself even deeper in the bay area youth music scene, singing baritone for Ragazzi Boys Chorus' Young Men's Ensemble and playing percussion for the Golden State Youth Orchestra's Senior Symphony, with whom he is traveling with to perform in Portugal in the summer of 2024. His passion for music extends to his academic life as well, being the first student in recent years to take both his school's band and choir courses, performing in both program's top honor ensembles. Beyond music, Jacob enjoys ice skating, online gaming, and enjoying (and critiquing) local boba tea establishments.
